I’m really interested in digital art but I’m like clueless on how it’s done. Would anybody tell what would be required? wat programs? and would i also need to know how to draw by hand?
My current thoughts are illustration contains drawn elements, and digital art contains effects and photos, but i hear a lot of people call those illustrations.
any help !
I mean, there has to be an online service for this kind of thing, right? I know the printers for this sort of work exist, so there has to be some way to get this done.
I’ve been working on an illustrated graphic novel (the plotline and character descriptions) for about three or four years off and on..and then, I only used graphite..but now I have a 9 x 12 inch Adesso graphics tablet and I’d like to know the simplest, most effective program that would work with my tablet. Digital art as in ink and coloring scanned works..not photo-manipulation.
Thanks in advance!
I was thinking I’d start with an introduction of what digital art is, going on to the history of digital art in the 50s/60s – perhaps then skip upto the 90s and use modern ‘art’/artists.
Through this essay I will write about Photoshop and other technology, while relating everything to freedom.
Sorry, I’m panicking. I don’t mean to put this question forward as a “do it for me” proposal, but does my process sound okay?
