Where Can I Print Digital Art on Wood?

BaKa-NEKO asked:

There are quite a number of online sources to get digital art printed on canvas, but I can’t find anything for wood. Does anything exist for this? If there are, please leaves some links. I’d be forever indebted to you.
Yeah, on a smooth wooden surface, directly on the wood. No veneer or transfer paper or anything like that…

I mean, there has to be an online service for this kind of thing, right? I know the printers for this sort of work exist, so there has to be some way to get this done.

  1. Blimey it depends if it is a smooth surface or not.
the only thing I can reccomend is somehow transferring.
see a canvas is paper and its much easier to print.
i’ve never seen wood coming out of printer.
If its a smooth wood then the only thing i can suggest is printing out you picture in reverse in black and white, then flipping it onto the wood and using cellulose thinner rub gently onto the back of the paper.
depending on the type of ink etc it may come out clear.
If not i have no idea what else to suggest :(
    sorry

  2. Our Artbox product is wood and its my favorite product. The picture clarity is spot on due to the smooth surface.
