Do I need to use digital camera and photoshop to do digital art?

  1. digital art doesn’t need to be done with a digital camera. That would be photo editing… digitally.
    Digital art includes a wide range of things. It could be traditional media portrayed digitally or it could be simply a medium that can only be made on the computer. It also doesn’t necessarily need to be photoshop; digital art could be done with MS paint for all it matters.
    There are lots of digital art programs to complement your style or what kind of art you like. For traditional media, go for Corel Painter and for more digital stuff photoshop, though it really depends on your comfort level with either.
    Anyways, digital art is basically art made on the computer. It’s like traditional art could be done with paper clips.

    In my personal experience, to get the most out of PhotoShop and other such programs, creating digital art is best done with a graphic tablet.
